I had a great little break within my busy day today. My best friend, Angela and sweet Oliva made and brought me a picnic lunch. How sweet is that? Although we did not have alot of time to spend together, the time we had was extemely refreshing. We laughed, planned, ate, remembered (well, I remembered as she has seemed to for some reason blocked our childhood out) and ate some more. And, if you do not know Angela...........she does not just bring sandwiches, but gourmet sandwiches. It's funny because we are so alike in many ways....but, so different in others. She with her gourmet sandwiches, me with my peanut butter and jelly, she in her cute, trendy heels, me in my flip-flops, she is her little black dress, me in my capris, the list goes on.....but, thankfully our differences make us the perfect pair!! In the craziness of life, even though she moved back home months and months ago - our time together has been depressingly limited. We desperately need to work on that.
God has indeed blessed me with incredible friends both old and new. It was a sweet day with a two sweet girls! Thanks, Ang!
